Transportation in London !!

Well, since the london is such a huge city it would be difficult for someone to Drive a car through the busy City Centre and expensive to use public car parking as well as parking along the road.

Just a single entry in London City can cost you £8.00 :)

for this , Government has a great network which has solved your solution for driving through busy areas. and they ahve devided London into different Zones.

For bus services it works only single Zone for whole london . but for Trains there are so many trains you could hardly count. every 1 to 2 minutes trains. and beauty is :) they are Underground.

Networks run in London Underground:

  • Northern Line
  • Central Line
  • Piccadly Line
  • Jubliee Line
  • District Line
  • Bakerloo
  • Circle Line
  • Hammersmith & City
  • Metropolitan Line
  • Victoria Line
  • DOclands Light Railway
  • Waterloo & City
  • and
  • National Rail Services

and on top of it .. BUS services which run 24 hours. not all routes though but most of them.

in my next post i'll explain which train takes you to which destination :) so stay tuned
