Transportation in London !!
Well, since the london is such a huge city it would be difficult for someone to Drive a car through the busy City Centre and expensive to use public car parking as well as parking along the road.
Just a single entry in London City can cost you £8.00 :)
for this , Government has a great network which has solved your solution for driving through busy areas. and they ahve devided London into different Zones.
For bus services it works only single Zone for whole london . but for Trains there are so many trains you could hardly count. every 1 to 2 minutes trains. and beauty is :) they are Underground.

21st Century London
London hosted the much derided Millennium Dome at Greenwich, to mark the new century.
Other Millennium projects were more successful. One was the largest observation wheel in the world, the "Millennium Wheel", or the London Eye, which was erected as a temporary structure, but soon became a fixture, and draws four million visitors a year. The National Lottery also released a flood of funds for major enhancements to existing attractions, for example the roofing of the Great Court at the British Museum.
The London Plan, published by the Mayor of London in 2004, estimated that the population would reach 8.1 million by 2016, and continue to rise thereafter. This was reflected in a move towards denser, more urban styles of building, including a greatly increased number of tall buildings,[6] and proposals for major enhancements to the public transport network. However, funding for projects such as Crossrail remained a struggle.
On 6 July 2005 London won the bid to host the 2012 Olympics. However, celebrations were cut short the following day when, on 7 July 2005, London was rocked by a series of terrorist attacks. More than 50 were killed and 750 injured in three bombings on London Underground and another aboard a double decker bus near Russell Square in King's Cross.

Places to Visit in North East England
Difficult to find where to go in North East of England ?? let me help you here :)
Here you can have it all: dazzling city life and Blue Flag beaches, vibrant culture and great shopping, cosmopolitan cafés and sparkling nightlife. And the great news it that everything’s just a short stroll or Metro ride away.
NewcastleGateshead’s rejuvenated Quayside dazzles with culture -
BALTIC: Centre for Contemporary Art,
The SAGE Gateshead: international music venue and the iconic Gateshead Millinium Bridge
In the city centre, the architecturally fascinating Grey Street was voted Best Street in Britain by Radio 4 listeners.
Eating out is a treat for all the senses, with many restaurants having wonderful river or city views. There are also some great places to stay on the Quayside and town centre, there are also some hotels if you fancy staying out of the centre but close as well.
Shopping malls such as Eldon Square and Metro Centre Gateshead, one of Europe’s largest shopping centre, contrast with quirky markets at Jesmond Dene and Tynemouth station. Tynemouth also has thriving surfing and café-bar scenes.
The city is surrounded by open spaces: Jesmond Dene; Saltwell Park and Gibside - home to rare red kites - and award-winning beaches line the nearby coast. Walk or cycle the coastal paths, see the amazing rock stack in Marsden Bay.
Nearby Sunderland, the city by the sea, is set right on the mouth of the River Wear next to an award-winning coastline and surrounded by easily accessible countryside. Look out for the adrenalin rush of the Red Arrows at the annual Sunderland International Airshow and the world's best kite flyers at the International Friendship Festival in July each year.
